All Night Grad Party Is Seniors’ Last Hurrah

Alexis Larsen and Sadie Finn

The All Night Grad Party is T.C.’s “best-kept secret,” said College and Career Counselor Stacy Morris. This year will mark the 30th annual All Night Grad Party, which allows seniors to have a safe, alcohol, and drug-free celebration of their achievements in high school. This event is supported by the PTSA with the help of local businesses and patrons. This event allows community members to show their support for local students in a safe and fun way.

Morris said, “they can have their own graduation celebrations but we want to be able to have something fun for our students so that they are not out doing things that may be unsafe.”

The party is June 15, the night of graduation.

Morris said that the All Night Grad Party has “DJs, food, and lots of prizes!” The celebrations feature much more, including activities such as a velcro wall, casino, and caricature artists, as well as both cash and non-cash prizes. Last year, there were raffles for a MacBook Air, Apple Watch, iPad, Beats, Xbox, mini-fridge, Amazon and Bed Bath & Beyond gift cards, a Lenovo laptop, and much more. There was also a cash giveaway of $3000.

The party provides an opportunity for all T.C. seniors to celebrate their accomplishments. “It is really important to have something for students that may not have any place to go, or that may not be able to have a graduation party,” said Morris.

Morris said that students “can have their own graduation celebrations, but we want to be able to have something fun for our students.” After spending four years at T.C., Morris said “it is important to celebrate” all of the students’ hard work to graduate. “We want to be able to give you a party.”

Tickets are $40 in advance or at the door. Students who buy tickets in advance will receive ten extra raffle tickets for non-cash prizes. Tickets can be bought online at https://tcwallnightgradparty.com, or at school during lunch from April 29-May 3 and June 3-7, next to the booth for prom tickets . Students can also look for a letter and order form in their third-quarter report cards. Additionally, if students have bought the Herff Jones package for graduation earlier in the year, their name is already on the list for check-in at the door.

Students who buy tickets will not receive a physical ticket. Instead, their name will be added to the list for admission. The only thing seniors are required to bring is their current student ID. They should come wearing comfortable clothing and shoes for the night, and enter on the Chinquapin Circle side of the school.

Morris said, “it is great to provide an avenue for [seniors] to be able to express themselves and congratulate one another, I think it is important to celebrate and to have that celebration come from T.C.”
