The Blue Devils are coming off a very impressive season finishing with a record of 9-3. They are led by quarterback Maalik Murphy, who has thrown just under 3,000 yards and is looking to get its ninth bowl game win.

The Texas Bowl will feature an exciting matchup between Baylor and LSU on Dec. 31 at 3:30 p.m. at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. This game marks the first meeting between the two teams since the 1985 Liberty Bowl, where Baylor won. Historically, LSU leads the all-time series 8-3, but Baylor holds a slight edge in bowl games, with two victories in their three matchups against the Tigers.
Originally named the Houston Bowl, the Texas Bowl continues the tradition of the matchup consisting of one team coming from the Big 12 conference and a team from the Southeast Conference (SEC).
Baylor enters the game with an impressive finish to the regular season, having won six consecutive games to end the year with an 8-4 record. Under head coach Dave Aranda, Baylor has made a strong resurgence, securing a spot in their 12th bowl game in the past 15 seasons.
For LSU, the season ended with an 8-4 record, and although the Tigers were ranked as high as No. 8, they struggled towards the end of the season with a few tough losses. The Tigers will be relying on their explosive offense, led by quarterback Garrett Nussmeier, to finish strong and redeem their season

The Duke’s Mayo Bowl has become known for its lighthearted post game tradition, where the winning coach gets doused with mayonnaise.
Minnesota, a 7-5 team from the Big Ten Conference, will be looking to capitalize on their strong regular season, which included impressive wins over teams like Iowa and Wisconsin. Their offense, led by quarterback Tanner Morgan, will need to execute at a high level to overcome Virginia Tech’s defense
On the other side, Virginia Tech enters the bowl game with a 6-6 record and hopes to build on their success from last year’s Military Bowl victory. After a challenging season, the Hokies managed to secure a bowl berth thanks to a dramatic 37-17 win over Virginia.
For both teams, this bowl game is not only about pride but also an opportunity to end the season on a positive note.
The Pop Tart Bowl will be a fun one for sure. It will be held between the 13th ranked Miami Hurricanes and the 18th ranked Iowa State Cyclones. The game will take place on Dec. 28 at 3:30 p.m. and will be held at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando Florida.
The first bowl was held in the 1990s in Miami Gardens, Florida. Since 2001, it has been held in Orlando. It was then played 3 times after 2001 as the tangerine bowl. After this it would have its sponsor changed multiple times over the years, but in 2023 it was finally named the Pop Tart bowl.
Miami are coming into this game looking very strong, finishing the year with a 10-2 record. They are led by star quarterback Cam Ward who recently just finished as a Heismen Finalist.
Iowa State are coming into this game off a rough loss in the Big 12 Conference Championship to Arizona State University, however before that they were on a 5-game winning streak and last lost on November 9th.
This game will be a high-scoring game, in which Miami’s quarterback Cam Ward is looking to put on a show for his last CFB game, and to get Miami’s first bowl game win since 2016 and 2006. Iowa State is 0-9 in bowl games and is hoping to get their first bowl-win ever.
The Alamo Bowl will be a faceoff between 17th ranked Brigham Young University and 23rd ranked Colorado. The game will take place on Dec. 28 at 7:30 p.m. and will be held at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

It is traditionally held during December but in 2009, 2014, and 2015 it was held in January. But this matchup is held 3 days after Christmas, staying with tradition. With the recent move of most Pac 12 teams to the Big 12 it seems this bowl game will be just BIG 12 teams.
BYU is coming into this game as a force, after having a phenomenal season and looking like a playoff team the whole year, finishing 2nd in the BIG 12. They are led by quarterback Jake Retzcliff who threw for over 2,700 yards this season.
Colorado is coming into this game ready to show out. After a couple of hard losses this season the Buffaloes and star two-way player Travis Hunter, the newest member to join the Hiesman club, are looking to end this season on a high note.

The ReliaQuest Bowl will be held between 11th ranked Alabama and Michigan in the ReliaQuest Bowl on Dec. 31 at 12 p.m. It will be showcased at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
The ReliaQuest Bowl started in 1986, and it did not take place in 1987, but after that they have hosted a bowl game annually. It was previously named the Hall of Fame Bowl from 1986-1995, and then the Outback Bowl from 1996 to 2022. This bowl game’s tradition is being held on new years eve, and often the first game to kick off on a day that is filled with post-season CFB.
This matchup is a big one, with two rivals that played last season in the college football playoffs. Michigan won that game and went on to win the college football playoffs. Most of Michigan’s offense from that team is gone, but most of the defense is still there.
Jalen Milroe, Alabama quarterback has been a star during the 3 years he has been with Alabama, so look out for him in this game, Alabama will need him. Also watch out for the Ryan Williams (Wide Receiver) versus (Cornerback) Will Johnson matchup this game.
Both teams had rough seasons with them both being left out of the College Football Playoff this year, so they both are hungry for this win.
The Cheezit Citrus Bowl will be played between 15th ranked South Carolina and 20th ranked Illinois in a high-stakes Bowl game on Dec. 31 at 3 p.m. It will be held at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
This bowl game started as the Tangerine Bowl in 1947, it was changed to the Citrus Bowl in 1983 and was almost named the Grapefruit bowl. Capital One, the same organization that owns the Wizards arena, owned sponsorship for the bowl game from 2003-2014. It is now sponsored by Kollegs and the Cheez It brand. The Citrus Bowl is one of the oldest non-CFP bowls, along with the gator bowl and the sun bowl.
This matchup is going to be one of the best that has been scheduled for this year. South Carolina’s quarterback has been a star the past few games and will have to continue to show it against Illinois’ tough defense. His rushing ability has the speed and sensitivity of Lamar Jackson, and the running strength of Josh Allen. He will be a beast for his entire CFB career. Illinois’s defense will have to watch him and capitalize on his inexperience , and get interceptions when he decides to try to fit the ball in a tight window as he normally does.
Both teams are looking for a strong finish to the season.
The Music City Bowl will be played between 19th ranked Missouri and Iowa on Dec. 30th at 2:30 p.m.
In 2020 this same matchup of Iowa vs Missouri was scheduled in a bowl game but was canceled due to Covid-19 issues within Missouri’s program. The first Music City Bowl was held in Vanderbilts stadium in 1998, and was then moved to the new at the time, Tennessee Titans Stadium. They had no sponsor for the game during 2000 and 2001.
The Music City Bowl has a history of upsets; there have been 8 underdogs to win from 1999-2008. That is crazy, for almost 9 years straight, the underdog beat the favored team. Due to this history, watch out for Iowa to upset 19 ranked Missouri.
Iowa has had a decent season, beating Nebraska, Maryland, Minnesota, Northwestern, and Wisconsin. However, they have lost to Michigan State, Iowa State, Ohio State, and UCLA. Those losses aren’t too bad because they are good teams, besides UCLA. They did have good wins against Nebraska, Maryland, and Minnesota though, all being tough matchups this season.
Missouri on the other-hand, has a lot of bad losses despite still being ranked, they lost to Texas A&M, South Carolina, and they were shut out 34-0 by Alabama. These losses make it very reasonable to assume they might be upset by Iowa.
