Directed by Pablo Larraín, Spencer focuses on Diana’s isolation and her fragile mental state. The movie is filled with Diana’s attempts to escape the confines of her unhappy marriage and the expectations of the Royal Family.

Wes Anderson’s latest movie, The French Dispatch was released Friday, October 22. The movie is an anthology of stories from the final issue of an American newspaper outpost in France, and is set in the fictional french city of Ennui-Sur-Blasé. The French Dispatch, a fictional Sunday supplement was inspired by The New Yorker, and many of the characters were inspired by famous writers and journalists.

Written and directed by Greta Gerwig, the movie is a coming-of-age story that documents a high schooler's troubled relationships with her friends and family. The protagonist, Christine McPherson (played by Saoirse Ronan) is unsatisfied with her life at a Catholic School in Sacramento. She goes by the name “Lady Bird” instead of Christine to defy her mother, and she longs to one day reside on the East Coast.
