Del Ray’s 29th Annual Halloween Parade took place last weekend, Oct. 26, on Mount Vernon Avenue. The parade starts on East Bellefonte Ave and goes down to the Mount Vernon Recreational Center’s field. Participants come in costumes and compete in competitions like the Stroller Competition and Pet Costume Competition. Awards are presented at the end of the parade in the Recreation Center field.
The tradition is a longstanding community event that showcases the local businesses and vibrant community of Del Ray. This year marks another season of celebrating Halloween with the neighborhood.
