Staff Writer

On March 1, five students from each learning academy were honored in the 2nd quarter titan pride assembly. Each academy chose students that exemplify at least one characteristic of the acronym P.R.I.D.E.: preparation, respect, integrity, determination, and excellence.

Students were honored for a variety of reasons, from pulling their grades up to adapting to living in a new country.

Julio Carbajal-Adriano was recognized for his excellent work academically and impressive GPA.
Torenzo Ricks was honored for his determination to improve his grades and be successful; as well as seeking resources to help him reach his goals.
Natasha Bertetti was honored for treating those around her with respect and humility; as well as her everyday workings academically and socially.
Katerhine Block was honored for preparing herself academically, socially, and personally for her future career development.
Jazlyn Marshall was recognized for her determination to have a consistent drive to complete all her assignments and do her best in class.
Tayshaun Moore was honored for his determination and excellence as a goal-oriented and hard-working student who teachers are excited to work with.
Neil Gascon was honored for his preparation and strong work ethic that will prepare him for his future.
