The third annual Java Jive took place on November 20, 2023 and saw great success.
One organizer had high hopes for the event.
“It’s always a really great experience,” they said.
The Java Jive was hosted by the Tri-M Honors Society, an organization that contains student musicians, actors, and dancers from all walks of life.
When asked how they thought the event went, one organizer said, “I think it was a great success, it’s always a great way to share music.”
From original songs to the main theme from Interstellar played on the piano, everything was covered during the event.
When questioned about what it was like to perform, a musician responded, “It’s like all sorts of people can play and it’s all accepted and everybody sounded great. So it was really fun.”
