T.C. Principal Peter Balas hosted his first Principal’s Chat after Spring Break on Wednesday April 7 and discussed a variety of matters including recent community events and senior plans for graduation.

His primary topic of discussion was what the return to school will look like for students who opted to transition to a hybrid schedule. Mark Eisenhour, Lead Administrator for Operations and Facilities, was also on the Zoom and gave updates on construction of Parker-Gray Stadium.
Nearly four months ago, singer-songwriter Ariana Grande released her sixth studio album Positions. However, the artist dropped the deluxe version of this album on Friday, February 19th, featuring five new songs.

On January 6th, T.C. principal Peter Balas hosted the first Principal’s Chat of the new year and discussed an array of topics including transitioning semesters, potentially returning to school, student grade decreases, Teacher of the Year nominations, and more.
On October 30th, record-breaking singer Ariana Grande released her sixth studio album Positions. She dropped the title track “positions” a week prior, teasing the name of the album for her fans. The 14-song collection features three collaborations and highlights Grande’s R&B skills and wide vocal range -- from low tones to whistle notes.
“We are in the public engagement part of our process here,” said Principal Peter Balas who recently hosted his first Principal’s Chat of the school year over Zoom. Balas was referring to The Identity Project, whose members work to host engagement sessions about the renaming of T.C. Williams High School and Matthew Maury Elementary School.

The subject line contains five simple words: “Update Regarding September SAT Registration.” You open the email to learn that your test site has closed and your SAT is cancelled.
Greetings to my wonderful Titans of the Class of 2020! You did it! This is a moment of joyous celebration as you graduate T.C. Williams High School. You should be proud of all you have accomplished in your classes, in athletics, in clubs, in the arts, and all other endeavors you completed while at TC. Be proud and raise your head high. Today marks the end of one era and the start of a new one. I can promise you that the Class of 2020 will always be remembered!

For this generation, our lives have existed in the online world. We are consumed in likes, tags, and comments. This is no way to live a healthy lifestyle. As humans, we tend to please other people to ensure that we are accepted into their group. But what about you? What about your mental state?
The pandemic of COVID-19 has greatly affected the educational structures of students across the globe. T.C. students have a variety of concerns with how this outbreak will affect their grades, credits, and college acceptances while also leaving seniors disappointed about their loss of graduation and prom.
