Leadership is an elective open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors. In Mrs. Cordero and Mr. Henry’s leadership class, students learn valuable skills like communication, effective planning, and other professional social tactics. Students help plan school-wide events and engage in the community. With a wide variety of flavors and customizable ingredients, these smoothies are perfect for hot summer days. I’m a Tropical Smoothie superfan, so I’ve tried almost every smoothie on the menu. Passionate teachers are hard to find these days, but Patrick Earle is one of the good ones! Mr. Earle is a multi-subject teacher at ACHS who creates a fun and engaging learning environment. He has a lot of environmental knowledge that he enjoys sharing with today’s youth.
The fall college admissions process is a very stressful time for students and parents. In an effort to make this process easier, the ACHS College and Career Center has been inviting colleges and universities to come and talk to our students about their establishments. These visits expose students to new colleges as well as give students opportunities to learn more about ones they’re already familiar with.
