James Libresco, Co-Editor in Chief
James Libresco is co-editor in chief and primarily covers education and city politics, while highlighting difference-makers in the Alexandria community. Libresco’s work has been published in the Alexandria Times, Alexandria Gazette Packet and Zebra, among other outlets. Libresco is also student body president, a varsity basketball player, an ambassador for Morgan’s Message and a school lead for Students Demand Action. His online portfolio is available below.
In 2025, Libresco selected by the Journalism Education Association as the second place recipient of Virginia’s Journalist of the Year award.
