This year has been another chaotic year, from another year of the pandemic to being able to return to in-person school. With another year comes new fashion statements, album releases, and trends. Below are some of the best trends, releases, and events broken down.
Taylor Swift’s re-release of Red was a highly anticipated album this year. Swift is in the process of re-releasing her first 6 studio albums so she can own them. Red was a much-awaited release because of the inclusion of the 10 minute version of All Too Well, one of the most popular songs on the album. In addition to that song, it has all the songs originally on the album and nine other “from the vault” songs that were never released earlier.
Over the past year, a trend that has made a comeback is flare pants. Between bell bottoms, yoga pants, and velour pants, the 70s have made a fashion statement. Many people have been bringing them back and styling them in a variety of ways. These pants go with many different styles and can be accessorized to anyone’s liking.
Now that we are back in person, football games were a big part of the first quarter. Starting with opening night on the new field, the blackout game was sold out and the stands were packed. The new field and lights played a role in the excitement as fans enjoyed their first ever Friday night lights at home.
